How Teker Shield prepares copyright notices for you to file, and how a counter-notice is handled. Claims concerning content hosted by Teker Shield itself go to [email protected].
How a notice is prepared
We assemble the notice from the work you registered, the infringing URLs we located, and the captured evidence. The notice cites the correct regime for the recipient — 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) for US hosts, § 512(d) for search engines, Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act for EU providers.
You review, you sign, you submit
Every notice is prepared in your name. Before it leaves your account an administrator of your organisation reads and approves it, and you then submit it yourself through the recipient’s form or by email. Teker Shield transmits nothing. The template text has not yet been reviewed by counsel, and the export says so.
What each notice contains
Identification of the protected work, the specific infringing material, the complaining party’s contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy and authority made under penalty of perjury, and your signature.
Escalation
If a host does not act we prepare the next notice in sequence for you: a repeat notice, the CDN or registrar, search de-indexing. Repeat infringers are tracked across cases.
Counter-notices
If a recipient forwards a counter-notice, record it in your account and we compute the deadline that applies and prepare a response for you to review. Material may be restored unless court action is commenced within the statutory period. We do not file suit on your behalf, and we recommend legal advice before you respond.
Misuse
We refuse to prepare requests aimed at lawful criticism, journalism, parody or content you do not own. Accounts that repeatedly prepare unfounded claims are suspended.
Evidence integrity
Every capture stores a full-page screenshot and the raw HTML with a SHA-256 hash of each, exportable as a PDF. Recomputing the hash over the stored file shows whether the evidence has been altered since capture.
